Victor Fisher is an artist who specializes in traditional art, with a modern flair, in bronze. Originally from Chicago, he has studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, graduated from the American Academy of Art, and attended the Laguna School of Art in Laguna Beach, California.

Each sculpture attempts to depict an athlete or dancer at an instant of peak performance or at rest. He tries to freeze a moment in time because at this moment the athlete is tremendously graceful. Fisher feels that he must do justice to the parts of the body that are the most prominent- faces, hands, and feet. His sculptures focus on the human form and feature detailed bases which set off the sculptures in an unique manner.

He has shown at the Traditional Artists Show in San Bernardino, California, the Desert Art Museum in Palm Springs, California, Art-A-Fair in Laguna Beach, Hillcrest Invitational Show, and second place at the Paramount Invitational Show. He won a Gold Medal at the Knickerbocker Artists Annual Exhibition at the Salamugundi Club in New York by the Council of American Artists Professional League in New York awarded for the sculpture “Turning Point”. Other works have been displayed in the Annual Gold Medal Exhibition hosted by The California Art Club at the Pasadena Historical Museum. He recently was in a show for the National Sculpture Society in San Diego. The Kalos Kagathos Foundation chose Fisher to produce a commemorative bronze sculpture called “Oarsman” which is on permanent display at the Orange Coast College boathouse in Newport Beach. The foundation commissioned a new sculpture as a CIF award in water polo and a high relief bronze oarsman for the David Grant award. Other commissioned work includes a plaque for Thomas Porter.
